Pastor Scott Kircher began serving at Hickory Creek Community Church as the Interim Pastor in October, 2004. During this time, God began revitalizing Hickory Creek and the church decided to call Scott as their Senior Pastor in April of 2005.
Scott has not always been in pastoral ministry but sensed God's call into the ministry in the fall of 2000. Scott was working as a financial futures broker for a bank at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange at that time. He had been involved in various leadership positions within the church for years but sensed God calling him to greater service and commitment. He began working toward his seminary degree and was licensed as a minister of the gospel in January of 2001.
While pursuing his seminary work and serving in the church, Scott continued to work outside the church. However, in April of 2002, Scott sensed God calling him to take a step of faith and he left his job and volunteered full-time as an Associate Pastor at the church he was at. In January of 2003, he was brought onto the full-time paid staff of his church. As Scott neared the end of his seminary training in 2004, God called him to take the role at Hickory Creek as the interim pastor which led to him taking the role of Senior Pastor in April of 2005.
Scott has been married to his wife Laura since 1989 and they have 3 wonderful kids: Jason, Adam, & Melanie. Laura is also an active part of the ministry helping lead the Power Zone Kids Ministry as well as being involved with our TBD Sr. High Ministry and helping organize special events for the church.
Scott and Laura have been amazed to be part of such an amazing work that God has been doing at Hickory Creek and look forward to His continued work in the church and through His people.
Bob Lullo has been a Christian since his childhood days. Bob and his wife Kristy, along with their two children, began attending Hickory Creek Community Church in July of 2009.
Bob was inspired by the work God was doing at Hickory and as a result, Bob began to take a more active roll in his faith. Seeking to become more involved in serving, Bob and Kristy, began serving in the Sr. High youth program (TBD) in January of 2010. While working a fulltime job and serving at TBD, Bob became even more active in other capacities of the church. In January of 2011, Bob's leadership qualities and dedication to God's church at Hickory was recognized by its leaders and in May of 2011, Bob was nominated and elected Deacon at Hickory Creek.
Bob's prior year's of work experience include being a union carpenter, operations and installation manager for a high-end Brazilian furniture company, and a business owner.
As God continued to work in Bob’s life, Bob felt God calling him to leave his secular profession to serve HIM in a life of fulltime ministry. In June of 2012, this calling came to fruition as Bob became Director of Youth and Administration here at Hickory Creek Community Church.
Bob is married to his high school sweetheart Kristy, since 2001. They have two beautiful children Emmi and Anthony. Kristy actively serves at Hickory Creek co-leading the Power Zone Kids ministry and as a Sr. High youth group leader. Kristy also works in ministry as a preschool teacher at a Christian Church.
Bob and Kristy are both excited to see how God will continue use them at Hickory Creek Community Church to Love God, Love People, and Live it out!
Since the age of 12, Jeremy Dodge felt God's calling him into youth ministry. He pursued this calling through high school and into college. During the summers of his sophomore and junior year of college, he interned at Hickory Creek Community Church's Jr. High & Sr. High youth program. This internship involved leading worship, organizing events, and preaching.
