Pastor Andy

Andy was born and raised in Canton, Ohio. He grew up in a strong
Christian home and was an active part of his home church, Canton
Baptist Temple. He felt a call to ministry as he spent time serving in
his youth group and at the church’s summer camp, Camp CHOF, as
well as through going on various missions trips to Peru, Australia,
and Mexico. Andy pursued that call, attending Moody Bible Institute
in Chicago from 2000-2003, graduating with a Bachelors of Arts in
Pastoral Ministry.

While at Moody, Andy met Andrea Winship, who was attending
Cedarville University in Cedarville, Ohio. She also graduated in 2003,
with a Bachelors of Arts in Accounting and Finance, after which they
were married on September 1, 2003. They then moved to Louisville,
Kentucky and prepared for Andy to attend the Southern Baptist
Theological Seminary.

After taking a year off, during which Andy enjoyed a position at
Starbucks and Andrea become a Tax Associate with Crowe Chizek,
Andy enrolled in seminary in the Fall of 2004. May 10, 2006 brought
more excitement to their family with the birth of their daughter,
Elaine Grace. After three years of schooling, Andy graduated with a
Masters of Divinity in Christian Ministry in May of 2007. God
sovereignly directed their family to Hickory Creek Community
Church, where Andy joined the staff as the Associate Pastor in mid-
July of 2007. They currently live in Mokena, and enjoy participating
in every aspect of church ministry, especially the TBD Youth Ministry.
