The idea of a “vigil” is to devote time when you would normally be sleeping or doing something else, to concentrate prayer or devotion to God. As we prepare to expand our facility and engage our culture in greater ways and seek to make sacrifices to do so, we want to come before the Lord praying for our church to be a beacon of light in our community, for the needs of those within our body, and for the hearts of those in our culture who need to hear the good news about Jesus Christ. As we enter into our Give Thanks Weekend and make sacrifices for our Engaging our Culture campaign, and prepare to expand our facility, seize this opportunity to exercise the power of prayer given to us as the Body of Christ. Please sign up for a time slot (more than one can sign up for a particular time slot). We will have the facility staffed during the entire 24 hour period, but our hope is to have someone praying during the entire 24 hours.
